The Montville Chamber of Commerce was formed in 2005 thanks mainly to the efforts of Mr Ray Outteridge, long term resident and businessman.

The Aims of the Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber of Commerce aim is to promote the image of Montville & Region in all its aspects, and to clearly focus on the task of developing & increasing its tourist potential to the advantage of all Chamber members.

To act as the combined business voice of it's members.

To represent the interests of the Business Community to Local Authorities and to work in liaison with all existing organizations.

To create good working relationships and to interact with adjoining Chambers.

The Area of Operation of the Montville & Region Chamber of Commerce.

Our area of operation is "The Montville Region" and its environs. Not restricting businesses or persons that consider being a member of the Chamber to be of benefit to their business.We see a combination of a unique and receptive Village of Montville, with all its attractions, shopping, dining, and the wonderful accommodation available in the region as being an integral part of the fabric of the area in general. The Montville region must be considered as one of the states premium areas for the peaceful enjoyment of our many assets.
�As part of a philosophy of "Community of Interest" we see the region as being of equal importance to The Chamber, in the promotion and awareness of our wonderful environment. This area is blessed with spectacular scenery and many wonderful eco experiences such as Queenslands Great Walks, the Baroon Pocket Dam and Kondalilla Falls to name but a few. These are some of the great experiences in Queensland if not Australia.

There is also a significant Artistic & Cultural element presently existing. These areas will be amplified and promoted to further enhance the unique feel of the region.

As well as the direct business involvement with the Business community, it is hoped that many other occupations i.e. Home occupations, the Professions & Trades etc, will support the Chamber to implement its aims and objectives.

The fundamental preface for the success of the Chamber rests firmly with its membership. The intellectual and financial input of its members will be of major importance in the successful implementation of the Chambers charter.So it is with the above-mentioned thoughts in mind that we seek your support by joining with us to make Montville and its environs a more prosperous and desirable destination.

A brief outline of the Chambers promotional and activities agenda is included in this package. This is by no means our final agenda but a starting point to be fine-tuned and further developed in the immediate future. A newsletter will be distributed monthly, electronically and also hard copy.
